Alliance Jiaxing development is the ambitious attempt to establish a new “Village” culture in China and a solution for the land reform re-settlement. One quarter of this area is dedicated to elderly people with barrier free houses and landscaping, in-house health monitoring and a clinic. Apartment unit sized for this neighborhood are small and a well distributed network of convenience stores and health clubs ensures short walking distances suitable for the age group.
