The City of Leiden is a famous and beautiful ancient University City in the motherlands. In order to attract more tourists to the surrounding province, the city government commissioned a study to extend retail area, add entertainment facilities and supply ample parking. In a process involving numerous workshops, a concept was developed to carefully highlight historical sites yet implementing large scale floor plates to place anchor retail as a key to revitalize the old center.
