In 2007 the planning authorities of HCMC invited 8 international architectural firms to propose the conceptual development plan for the city center. Our competition entry “Green Saigon” proposed a sustainable redesign of the very heart of Saigon including concepts for inner city port areas that will be relocated. One of the features is the extension of Le Loi Boulevard connecting to a grand river promenade with retail and restaurants.
